Former GUNS N' ROSES Bassist To Take Part In 'Decades Rock' Tribute To HEART

Former GUNS N' ROSES and current VELVET REVOVER bassist Duff McKagan will take part in the upcoming "Decades Rock Live!" tribute to the band HEART, according to Launch Radio Networks. The event takes place March 10 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and McKagan will perform with the band ALICE IN CHAINS, whose surviving members will reunite at the show. Also appearing on the program will be ex-JANE'S ADDICTION/RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS guitarist Dave Navarro, Carrie Underwood, Rufus Wainwright and Gretchen Wilson. The proceedings will be shown on VH1 Classic at a later date.

The "Decades Rock Live!" series is a collection of tributes to artists who have shaped and influenced music over the past several decades, generally including artists the guest of honor picks as influences and more modern acts that have been influenced by the honoree.
